About Me
It's important to me that children are engaged and creating in the music classroom. Music can enrich everyone's life and can offer each child a mode of expression. It is important to me that the children in my music classroom learn how to listen, read, and play music of various styles and cultures. I want them to leave my room with an appreciation of music and a confidence to express music in their own unique way.

This is my 16th year of teaching and 4th year at Meadowbrook School. This school year I had the privilege to work with an Apple trainer, presented at the Illinois State Music Education Conference in Peoria, IL and served as a technology mentor in the district as well. Over the years, I have taught a variety of courses on integrating technology in the music classroom. This summer, I have the pleasure of teaching graduate students at VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, IL.
