Sock Puppets

Put a puppet in front of 5 and 6 year olds and they will do anything the puppet says! This app allows children to pick a puppet, create a scenery for their puppets and then press record and they can improvise a simple melody for you to assess! Ask first graders to sing a simple s-m melody back and forth to each other and assess their singing voice. Even better, you can ask the kids to assess their own singing voice. They will beg you to do it again and again! Best part is that it is free!
