Listening Adventures
Here is a fun, interactive way to get kids interested in the orchestra! Turn on your IWB and visit this website. Kids can watch on the big screen a little beginning scene to hook them into this guide and then there are interactive games along the way to keep them interested and learning about all the instruments in the orchestra. Kids come into my room begging to play on the website and ask how they can play this at home. It's engaging, fun and so educational!
RegisterRegister a game and it will save your progress so you can play over multiple music classes. This feature is nice because it will keep the progress of each of my classes! | A Young Person's GuideA young girl uses "A Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" to find and discover all about the instruments of the orchestra. Each time she finds an instrument, a game must be played to collect the instrument. Kids love it. | Woodwind PondThere are four places to visit on the map. They are all named after each family of the orchestra. |
